Terms & Conditions

1Accounts & Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old (or 13+ with parent/guardian consent).
• You're responsible for safeguarding credentials and activities on your account.

2Your Content & Licenses

Your Content includes resumes, profile data, audio/video, and transcripts.

• Ownership. You retain ownership.
• Service license. You grant us a worldwide, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free license to host, process, transcribe, analyze (including automated tools/AI), display to you, and back up Your Content solely to provide, secure, and improve the Services.
• AI training (your choice). By default, we do not use Your Content to train generalized models. We may use de‑identified telemetry to improve reliability and security. You may optionally opt‑in to contribute de‑identified data to improve AI features in Settings → Privacy.
• Publicity. We will not use Your Content for marketing without your explicit consent.
• Subprocessors. We use vetted providers (cloud, analytics, STT/TTS, LLMs) under contracts.

3Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (i) upload unlawful/infringing content; (ii) bypass security; (iii) access others' data; (iv) use the Services for academic cheating, misrepresentation, or deceptive documents.

4Data We Process

• Account & profile: name, email, preferences.
• Resumes: text/files and format conversions.
• Mock interviews: audio, transcripts, delivery metrics, feedback.
• Technical: device, IP, logs, cookies/SDK IDs.
• Payments: handled by processor; we store limited tokens/metadata.

5Storage, Retention & Deletion

• Data is stored in secure cloud databases (primary region: USA).
• Deletion: You can delete resumes, transcripts, and profile data via Settings or email admin@careercraft360.com. We delete or irreversibly de‑identify unless retention is required by law, security, fraud‑prevention, or accounting. Deletion may disable re‑scoring/replay features.
• Backups: Propagation occurs within typical rotation (30–90 days).
• Org seats: If your account is provisioned by an organization, its admin may access/retain artifacts consistent with our agreement with the organization.

6AI Disclaimers

AI outputs can be wrong or incomplete; you must review before use. No employment outcomes are guaranteed.

7Fees, Credits, Renewals & Refunds

• Plans/credits auto‑renew unless canceled.
• Refunds: within 5 days if no credits/minutes were consumed; otherwise non‑refundable except where required by law.
• We may suspend the Service for unpaid invoices.

8Intellectual Property

The Services and software are owned by us and our licensors. Except for §2, no rights are granted.

9Third‑Party Links/Integrations

Third‑party services are governed by their terms and privacy policies.

10Warranties & Liability

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES AND LIMIT TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS TO THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT OR USD $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

11Suspension & Termination

We may suspend/terminate for breach or risk. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends; data is handled per §5.

12Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in‑app or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

13U.S. Privacy Rights (California/CPRA)

California residents have rights to know/access, correct, delete, and opt‑out of certain "sharing." We do not "sell" personal information. Use Settings → Privacy or email admin@careercraft360.com to exercise rights. See our Privacy Policy for details.

14Dispute Resolution (U.S.)

• Informal resolution. Email admin@careercraft360.com and allow 30 days to resolve.
• Arbitration & waiver. Except for small‑claims, disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis under the Federal Arbitration Act; no class actions.
• Opt‑out. Email admin@careercraft360.com within 30 days of account creation to opt out of arbitration.
• Governing law. Laws of California; venue in San Francisco County, CA (if not arbitrated).

15App Store & Export Controls

If you download our mobile app, you agree to Apple/Google terms; they are third‑party beneficiaries of applicable app provisions. You represent you are not on any sanctions list and will comply with U.S. export laws.
